A Message to St. Mark's

From Deborah and Mark Halling, son and daugther of Bill Halling, a previous vicar here at St Mark's.

We'd like to say a very belated but heartfelt thank you to people who sent lovely, thoughtful messages and prayed prayers around the time of our Mum, Ro's, short illness and death last spring.

We have many happy memories from our time in Barrow and we know Mum really enjoyed catching up with friends from St Mark's when she paid what turned out to be her last visit in autumn 2018.

We massively appreciated being able to share messages from some of you with Mum in her final days and your kindness to us after she died. Thank you.

Church Anniversary and Gift Day

On Sunday 27th September we will be celebrating the 142th Anniversary of the establishment of St. Mark‘s. There will be an opportunity to give thanks for God‘s past provision and to pray that we continue to seek His direction for the future.

This year our gifts will be divided equally between Wycliffe Bible Translators and Church Mission Society. Ideally please place your gift in a Gift Day envelope. To enable us to reclaim the tax paid on your gift, the Donation Form on the front of your envelope must be completed. Any cheques to be payable to St. Mark‘s Church PCC.

If you are unable to attend Church, gifts can be sent to the Vicarage. If you would prefer to do a bank transfer please request the correct Bank Account details from the Treasurer, treasurer@stmarksbarrow.org.uk.
